MassNet

A functional annotation service for protein mass spectrometry data

HELP | HOW TO USE

1. About MassNet

MassNet is a web service for analyze and annotate mass spectrometry data. MassNet provides various information such as physico-chemical properties, protein-protein interaction, KEGG pathway, and gene ontology. In order to physico-chemical analysis, we use tools such as biopython, phobius, and SignalP. Also, the PPI is predicted based on the concept of homologous interaction using PSIMAP(Protein Structural Interactome MAP) and interaction information from protein experiments available from BIND, DIP, HPRD, MINT, IntAct, CYGD, and BioGrid. Users can retrieve various public resource(SwissProt, trEBML, NCBInr, refseq, cog, kog) of protein sequence that supports proteomic research.

4. Search by Sequence

It use blastp program to search homology protein sequences that are similar with query sequence you requested. And also you can search sequences that perfectly match with.
